(a) Target Group(s):
Actors who benefit from the results of your action, now and in the future. A strong engagement throughout the action is necessary. Participation in the consortium is possible. * Set limits and focus on your essential target group(s). A good practice rule is to have a maximum of 3 target groups, but this will depend on your proposed action. * Describe how your target group was involved in your proposal preparation. * List in the overview table below the main group(s) that your proposal aims to reach (e.g. architects, bankers, local policy makers, urban planners, utilities, ESCOs, social housing companies, householders, installers, transport operators, etc.).
Rinnovate target groups are as follows:
- owners (demand side);
- suppliers (supply side);
- integrators.
#Demand side
It includes:
- public owners of buildings
- private building owners
Public owners of buildings refer both to social housing and public buildings. Private owners include both homeowners, owners of multiple building and owners of commercial buildings.
It is estimated that there are about 210 million buildings in the European Union providing approximately 53 billion square metres of usable indoor space for our activities. These buildings are divided into: Individual Private Residences (34%); Private Apartment Buildings (14%); Public (Social) Housing (12%); Commercial Buildings (30%); Public Buildings (8%); Other (Leisure, Industrial…) (2%). <ref name="wbcsource"> {{

</ref> reveal that about 70% of the European building stock is privately owned. A large majority of these private owners, especially in the residential sector, are individual households (at east 65% of European households own their home) or private property owners with small and medium sized building portfolios.
In 2009 a total of nearly three quarters (73.6 %) of the of the EU-27 population lived in owner-occupied dwellings, while 13.0 % lived in dwellings with a market price rent, and 13.5 % in reduced-rent or free accommodation.
The figures of owners (both with and without mortgage) in the Rinnovate participating countries ranged from 83,2% in Spain, 74,6% in Portugal, 72 % in Italy, 69,9% in United Kingdom.
Users are both individual tenant and tenant associations. The share of persons living in rented dwellings with a market price rent in 2009 was less than 10 % in 12 of the EU Member States.

- suppliers of products and equipments

- full contractors (including ESCO and EPS companies with or without TPF)
Stakeholders consultation and involvement of target groups is a fundamental (and natural) part of Rinnovate strategy sought throughout all phases of the proposed project implementation. All Rinnovate partners have also been engaged in specific preliminary talks in order to investigate the expected acceptance of Rinnovate. Results have been encouraging enough as to suggest the partners to go ahead and prepare and submit the project proposal. Indeed, different organisations have expressed their interest in following the work of the consortium, suggesting strategies and also sharing their knowledge and experiences (for example the Partnership will share the main steps of the Contingency plan in order to gain their support and promote understanding). For this reason, the partners will promote the participation of representatives of the stakeholders and of the main target groups into Interest Groups (maximum of 5-10 members for each country) with advisory and consultative function to the Steering Committee The Interest Groups will be invited as Advisory Boards to participate to the meetings of the Steering Committee but also to informal “side-meetings” that the partners should decide to organise during project' activities. Meetings will be organized as round-tables providing information about the project results, but the main role is to share ideas in order to give an input to and encourage discussion. At the same, time relevant participants of the Interest Group should take part in the advisory Communication Committee, in which they will be called upon to suggest more effective messages or means to involve the targets. Participation in these two advisory bodies will facilitate managing relationship processes, maximizing stakeholders’ positive input and minimizing any potential detrimental impact. It will be also a means to map power and influence, so that potential impacts on the project can be better understood.

(b) Key Actors:
Actors whose involvement is essential to achieve the results of your action.Note that participants of the consortium are in any case key actors. Key actors for successful implementation of RINNOVATE are:
- organisations able to actively involve target groups;
- members of each target groups.
Some are already involved as partners, other need be engaged during the first steps of the projects. On the demand side building owners who foresee to plan renovations in the project's implementation time frame are essential. We contacted some representatives during proposal preparation: the municipalities of A Coruña (ES) and Ancona (IT); Hospital of Ferrara, Lega del FIlo d'Oro (IT); owners of commercial buildings belonging to the utility sector, e.g. Publiambiente (IT) and the national association Federutility, private owners, e.g. Sacyr Vallehermoso (ES) and the Italian association Confedilizia.
For the implementation of the project we need building owners who foresee to plan renovations in the project's implementation time frame. Activities to enroll members of this group are planned during the early stages of the project. Lega del Filo d'Oro and Hospital of Ferrara are already examples that are interested in being involved.
On the supply side, what is primarily needed is to identify and engage undertakings willing to participate actively, especially to support the collection of information and the advice process. TRECON (IT) had preliminary, in depth consultations with AIIR - Asociatia Inginerilor de Instalatii din România, RO and CNA Marche (IT) (the latter who is now part of the project). Other suppliers are not critical for the implementation of the project, for instance component suppliers, but will be engaged anyway relying on the attractiveness of RINNOVATE as a marketing channel.
On the integrators side, beyond the capability of partners, the key group of of architecs and designers have been contacted when conceiving the proposal and kept informed. It is essential for the project success that some energy specialists, architect, full contractors and energy service companies are involved. It is worth recalling that academic and techniology transfer partners (INEGI, INEGA, ITG) have constant relations with these organisations. While there is abundant technical skill among partners, it is important to engage existing professional communities. The Galitian Association of Architects will contribute actively. For the specific issue of ESCO/EPSC, ESCO Marche, which is member of ESCO Italia, will participate avtively.
(c) Letters of support:
- Make sure that these letters are specific to the proposal and that they are concrete about the nature of the involvement/support/interest.
- If not self-explanatory, you should give a short explanation of the profile of the organisation expressing the support.
- The letters should not be from the consortium members (i.e. not from the co-ordinator and the co-beneficiaries).
